Muddle in Monotonous Labor

Embodiment of venerable title,
performing endless tasks
from dawn till dusk,
donkey hauling without end
under the watchful eyes of plutocrats—
from top to bottom,
punctual to a gibberish caucus.

Slaving for performance,
the indigent obeys the commands of aristocrats.

A workaholic becomes a workhorse,
time is never enough,
and the lure of money
sabotages the walk of life.
